Dr. Sara Modlin-Tucker is a dual board-certified osteopathic physician specializing in comprehensive, compassionate weight management and metabolic health. With expertise spanning family medicine, obesity medicine, and osteopathic neuromusculoskeletal medicine (ONMM), Dr. Modlin-Tucker blends evidence-based medical care with a deeply holistic approach that honors the connection between mind, body, and behavior.
Her care model emphasizes sustainable lifestyle change, nervous-system regulation, and body composition optimization—not just the number on the scale. Dr. Modlin-Tucker partners closely with each patient to uncover the root causes of weight challenges, tailoring medical therapy, nutrition, movement, and osteopathic philosophy to each individual’s physiology and life stage.
Katherine Taylor PsyD, MPH
Dr. Katherine Taylor is a clinical psychologist with a passion for increasing access to mental health care.
Her love for health psychology has led her to spend more than two decades exploring weight management, body image, disordered eating, anxiety, depression and trauma. During her education and training, she contributed to published research examining the relationships between disordered eating and weight management, and ways to improve health using digital tools. As a trainee at the Department of Veterans Affairs, she co-led groups in the MOVE program, where she worked with Veterans to enhance weight management success via behavioral health interventions. She has also led groups focused on weight-related behaviors at the San Francisco YMCA and other community organizations.
Dr. Taylor has a BA in Psychology from Stanford University, an MPH in Community Health Sciences from UCLA, and a PsyD from the PGSP-Stanford PsyD Consortium.
When not working, Katie enjoys finding the nearest ocean, eating Winter White Chocolate ice cream from Baskin Robbins, and chasing her three children and her cattle dog/staffy mix, Rosie.
